Catherine Page (she/her) is a graphic designer at Perkins Eastman Architects in Washington, DC. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BFA in graphic design and is now developing her design skills in the field of AEC marketing.
Page’s relationship with photography is the central source of influence when producing work. Her process emerges from a lifelong affinity to print-based media and exploring systems used to collect and archive large quantities of information.
Her interests in systems have led to explorations made in physical and digital spaces that question the appropriate ways to display information. Page’s early projects were primarily print-based, but have since taken up more digital spaces, such as creating personal online archives of collected ephemera. Whether in a physical or digital space, both elements are imperative to connect people, save information, and continue to share information for generations to come.
Page loves learning and will not miss out on the opportunity to try something new. Outside of working, you can find her taking analog photographs, scanning a family shoebox full of 35 mm film, and running to get some fresh air.
